Privacy
This page explains what data this site collects when you visit, what it is used for, and how you can limit it.
What we collect ourselves
This site is a static collection of articles. There is no registration, no user account, no comment section, and no subscription form. We do not collect any personal data from visitors directly. We do not know your name, your email address, or which articles you read.
The only personal data we ever see comes from messages you send us by email through the contact page. These messages are stored in an ordinary inbox and used only to reply to you.
What our infrastructure collects
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare automatically logs technical details of every request — IP address, browser type, country (approximated from the IP), URL requested, and timestamp. These logs are used by Cloudflare for security and diagnostics; we do not access them directly. For details, see the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Cookies
This site does not set its own cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, or any other analytics service. We do not track individual visitor behavior.
Advertising and Google AdSense
The site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. If so:
- Google and its partners place cookies and identifiers on your device, including for personalized advertising based on your visits to this and other sites.
- These cookies may contain information about your interests. Google uses this data in accordance with its privacy policy.
- You can disable personalized advertising in Google’s ad settings. This does not remove advertising entirely, but makes it generic rather than tailored.
- In the European Union, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, you will see a consent banner on your first visit, certified by Google.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Know what information about you is being processed (on our side, none — see above);
- Ask us to delete your correspondence from the editors’ inbox;
- Configure your browser to block all third-party cookies, which will disable Google’s advertising analytics on this and every other site.
Changes
When this policy changes meaningfully, the date at the bottom of this page will be updated. We do not send change notifications because we have no list of your email addresses.
